- Kashi Vishwanath Temple: The Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and it holds immense spiritual importance. It’s a place of devotion and a serene spot to seek blessings and experience the spiritual essence of the region.
- The 4 Prayags (Rudra Prayag, Dev Prayag, Vishnu Prayag, Karna Prayag): The Char Dham Journey involves visits to the four confluences, or “Prayags,” where different rivers merge into the Ganges. Each Prayag has its own significance and is considered a sacred place for performing rituals and seeking blessings.
- Rudra Prayag: It’s where the Alaknanda River and the Mandakini River meet.
- Dev Prayag: Here, the Bhagirathi River and the Alaknanda River merge to form the Ganges River.
- Vishnu Prayag: It’s the confluence of the Alaknanda River and the Dhauliganga River.
- Karna Prayag: The confluence of the Alaknanda River and the Pindar River.
